Sofia Coppola’s latest film, The Bling Ring, is set to open at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16th.
The film follows the real life story of a group of teens that broke into the homes of big-name Hollywood celebrities that included Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson, and Lindsey Lohan. The story hit headlines in 2008 when it was reported that over the course of a year, over 3 million dollars worth of belongings was stolen by the fame-seeking teens.
