Charlie Bigham’s, creator of my favourite pop in the oven lasagne, has launched a range of seven new recipes, combining the goodness of grains with a lots of new recipes inspired by some of our favourite foods from around the world. The new range is perfect for those wanting to eat well, but who don’t always have the time or desire to prepare tasty, nutritious meals from scratch.
Chicken Katsu Curry, Salmon Teriyaki and Miso Chicken are amongst the new recipes, as well as vegetarian options such as Roasted Aubergine & Halloumi and Cauliflower & Paneer Curry. The meals are designed to be a healthy balance of protein, grains and pulses in a very tasty way that is quick and easy. I never feel guilt when I eat a pre-prepared meal by this range because it all looks so fresh and is not high in salts and sugars like a lot of other ready meals.
They look delicious and I will be seeking them out in my local Waitrose and Tesco, RRP £8.50 serves two, or a very hungry one.
Charlie Bigham says: “Grains are a fantastic natural source of protein, and combined with some punchy flavours and popular superfoods, our new recipes are a tasty option for those wanting to eat delicious, wholesome food, with less hassle.
