Last week, I popped by hairstylist supremo Neil Moodie‘s Covent Garden salon, Windle & Moodie, for an expert Lazy Blow Dry lesson. Whilst I’m no stranger to wielding a curling tong, I have yet to perfect that big, brushed-out, insouciant blow dry (as seen at Versace, SS12) and these days, simply drying my hair and attempting to smooth it with a barrel brush seems to be all I can squeeze into limited styling time.
Armed with the WAM 31″ Revolving Iron, £75, however, Neil whizzed through my hair like the pro he is, transforming my slept-on, disheveled locks into full blown supermodel waves in a mere 20 minutes – half the time it usually takes for a standard blow dry! He also (somewhat bravely) handed the revolving irons over to me and I can assure you that after a couple of attempts the Revolving Iron is not only simple to use, but also a complete pleasure. There’s no need for twisting, turning, contorting or burning whilst you create long, loose waves or tumbling curls. And the smooth ceramic barrel allows hair to slide without snagging. I don’t know how I ever styled without it.
