There isn’t a day that goes by that I’m not wearing Bobbi Brown’s Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick (£12.50). Usually it’s in golden bronze. It shimmers through any shadow I might apply on top and sometimes I use the grey on its own.
It has amazing staying power and takes less than ten seconds to apply. It is creamy, it is blendy, it is the best.

I have also recently discovered Bobbi Brown’s Art Stick For Lips. It is a wide fat pencil that comes with its own sharpener. I have it in electric pink. It’s almost neon and my homage to pink. I know pink is big this season and I find doing it with this electric colour is instant and easy and delivers a good strong lip.
The pencil part gives precision so the lips don’t bleed and it has tremendous stamina. It stays on all day. I have just eaten three coconut macaroons from Prêt A Manger and not managed to get any coconut stuck on my lips due to the extra supple texture. It stains the lips, not bits of food.

I am also loving, from the Perfectly Defined Collection, the Perfectly Defined Gel Eye Liner (£18.00). It is a retractable pencil that glides over the eye. The colours are super rich and deeply pigmented. Bobbi Brown say they have 12 hour’s worth of wear in them. I have managed 18 hours without having to reapply. These are amazing eye pencils.

Next up from Bobbi Brown I’d like to try the Raw Sugar Shimmer Brick Eye Palette. It looks all brown sugar and pearly pink. I have been using the Shimmer Blusher Brick for years, and by that I mean literally years. I have no idea how it’s still going. It’s been on four continents and used every day because it’s easy and gives a lovely shimmery soft focus, effortless look.
