Watch the trailer for Nick Love’s feature-length adaptation of The Sweeney, the famous 1970s British television police drama.
The Sweeney stars Ray Winstone as Jack Reagan and Ben Drew as George Carter, two detectives in the Flying Squad of London’s Metropolitan police who go after the UK’s most violent criminals. The cast also includes Allen Leech, Damian Lewis and Hayley Atwell.
Set in the present day, The Sweeney is sure to pack as much action as its television predecessor.
