The Tippling Club Singapore

Walking inside the The Tippling Club you understand exactly what the term ‘achingly hip’ looks like. Everything about it is just cool, you want one in the city where you live and you vow to yourself, “this is the type of place I want to hang out in, all the time..”

But for now you have to go to Dempsey Road in Singapore to hang out in it. When I visited Singapore I only got the chance to go for drinks, this was still in itself quite an experience. Every cocktail doesn’t just come in a different glass, it comes with its own personality and entourage of accessories. For example, the Juniper Sling made with gin, cassis, grand marnier, cherry bitters, juniper & cinnamon syrup. inspired by the Penhaligons fragrance ‘Juniper Sling’ actually came in the Penhaligons box from the fragrance, just brilliant. And it’s not just about the novelty factor here, the attention to detail, originality and taste is what makes this place so special.

Chef Ryan Clift began his 20 year career in Claridges in London, he has also worked under Marco-Pierre White and Peter Gordon; in 1999 he moved to Australia and became Head Chef of Vue de Monde

If you are planning a trip to Singapore be sure to put this on your itinerary, pretty near the top.
