Identical twins Gary and Alan Keery are opening up the UK’s first cereal cafe! The two floored store, named ‘Cereal Killer Cafe’ will provide customers with over 100 different varieties of cereal from all over the world.
It is set to open the 10th of December, this year on Brick Lane, Shoreditch. The Keery boys have said that the store will house the ‘most exciting cereal from around the world’, as well as displaying 80 vintage cereal boxes to bring back memories for customers. We can’t wait to go grab a bowl with the boys! It will be decorated with more vintage favourites like money boxes, skateboards, bike reflectors and milk bottles.
Alan Keery has said, ‘We remember how exciting cereal was as kids and we are trying to recreate it in our cafe, so you’ll be surrounded by a lot of vintage cereal memorabilia to stir up the nostalgia in all of us. We’re putting our own twist on a regular bowl of cereal by letting you customise it with different milks and toppings. This will be a cafe experience like no other.” They will provide thirteen different types of milk with twenty toppings to choose from as well as eighteen types of pop tart with toast, coffee and more popping candy then you have ever seen before.
It is not just a breakfast bar, as it will be open from 7am-8pm. Small bowls will be sold for £2.50, medium bowls at £3.00 and a large will be £3.50.
