Fashion brand, Band of Outsiders, are ensuring that their first foray at Paris Men’s Fashion Week does not disappoint by showcasing their collection on a male model who will be living within a specially-designed box compartment for 60 hours.
Located within a gallery window in Paris’ Le Marais district, the purpose-built compartment, made up of cardboard boxes and wooden planks, will be on view to passers-by 24/7, as well as being live streamed via the Band of Outsiders Tumblr page.
Entitled, The Longest Show Ever, the staged showcase will see the model telling the story of the inspiration behind the collection, with the use of various props.
Just so the stunt doesn’t become too Big Brother-esque, as WWD previously (and rather grimly) reported, the model will be allowed to leave the box every couple of hours (during the day) to be photographed, change into a new look from the collection – and “presumably to relieve himself”.
