Lady Gaga is planning to launch her own brand of water.
Not content with having only just released her own perfume ‘Fame’, the superstar singer is now branching into the world of healthy living with her own brand of bottled water which she is set to launchith a multi-million dollar campaign imagined by her Haus of Gaga creative team.
The name and shape of the bottle is being kept secret at present, but if it’s anything like the fragrance, I’m sure we can expect some Twitter/ Instagram accidental pre-launch leak. We’re also hoping for a Jean Paul Gaultier-esque Gaga-body silhouette bottle. .
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: “We know that the water drink is due out in the near future. No one has seen prototypes of the bottle.
“Gaga water is something that has been in the pipeline for a few months, and now things are really gearing up to an announcement and high-profile launch.”
News of the healthy-living branch of Gaga’s franchise comes after unflattering pictures of the 26-year-old pop superstar were recently splashed across newspapers and magazines. Gaga went on to admit that, after a lifetime battling eating disorders, she had gained 25 pounds since her parents opened their own restaurant, Joanna Trattoria in New York City.
She explained: “I love eating pasta and I’m a New York Italian girl. That’s why I have been staying out of New York.
“My father opened a restaurant. It’s so amazing … it’s so freaking delicious, but I’m telling you I gain five pounds every time I go there.”
