A video of Tom Ford’s A/W 2012 collection leaked yesterday — leaked being a relative term, seeing as the video can now be viewed at the famous designer’s website.
Fashionista.com reported early yesterday morning that the designer’s fall collection could be seen in a minute-long video montage set to electronic music, and still frames of TF’s latest designerwear soon swept the Internet.
Perhaps Ford’s best work yet, the fall collection incorporates elements such as defined shoulders, knee-high leather boots and plenty of ruching. Other quirky additions include jewelled statement necklaces, fluffy outerwear and even an oversized metal stomach emblem. Gwyneth Paltrow’s Oscar gown also makes an appearance. The video contains mere flashes of each outfit, offering up a tempting taste of the sleek and sexy clothing.
Ford is known for being extremely exclusive with the publicity of his collections, so we’d like to believe that the video comes from TF himself – we love a bit of a fashion enigma! Leaked or authentic though, we’re loving what little we’ve seen of Tom Ford’s fall 2012 womenswear line so far.
