Longtime comedy favorite Adam Sandler stars in this hilarious comedy directed by Sean Anders. Alongside Sandler stars Andy Samberg, known for his star roles in Hot Rod, and Celeste and Jesse Forever, as well as his time as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and his hysterical Youtube videos.
The film is also stars Leighton Meester and Vanilla Ice with Susan Sarandon and James Caan, to round out the cast with crowd pleasing favorites and add to the dynamic atmosphere.
That’s My Boy tells the story of Donny Berger (Adam Sandler) who falls for his smokin’ hot teacher, who is more than happy to add a few after class lessons about the birds and the bees to her curriculum. Of course it all ends badly, with McGarricle in prison and Donny left to raise their love child, Todd.
Now, 30 years later and Todd (Andy Samberg) is all grown up and a successful Wall Street executive, who split from his childish father as soon as he got the chance. But Donny, owing tens of thousands to the IRS, figures that getting in touch with his son is the only way to get the money he needs to stay out of prison.
Tracking down Todd on the eve of his wedding to Jamie (Leighton Meester), Donny crashes the party and turns the wedding festivities upside down. He’ll have a chance to finally bond with his son, but will Donny do what he knows he needs to do to finally be a good father?
