Since Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston has been raking in the roles – but the most intriguing performance to come is his portrayal of undercover agent Robert Mazur in The Infiltrator.
Ironically, Cranston’s character Walter White built a drug empire; now he’s attempting to take down one. Based on the agent’s autobiography of the same name, The Infiltrator tells the true-life story of the US Customs agent Mazur (Cranston) who went undercover in the 1980’s as hotshot money launderer “Bob Musella” in an attempt to bring down the cartel of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.
The film stars John Leguizamo as Mazur’s unpredictable partner, Diane Kruger as the inexperienced agent tasked with posing as his fiancee, and Benjamin Bratt as one of Escobar’s chief lieutenants, whom Mazur befriends as part of his operation….
