Tupac Shakur was resurrected at this year’s Coachella. To the amazement of festival goers, a digital image of Tupac performing alongside Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, quite simply stole the show. The 2-D projection has been rumoured to have cost around £300,000 and took four months to complete thanks to a collaboration between Dr. Dre, James Cameron’s Digital Domain and a couple of specialist imaging companies.
We’re still slightly in awe, and can’t help wondering how the team managed to recreate Tupac singing the songs!?
