John Gregory-Smith is a chef who is completely in love with Turkish food. So much so that he has dedicated his career to specialising in the cuisine; travelling around the country, setting up his own spice business and has published three books. Gregory-Smith hosts pop-ups around London where he sources special ingredients from Dalston, to share his stunning regional food with us. He puts a simple, modern spin on traditional recipes to introduce some exciting flavours into our lives.

John Gregory-Smith is bringing his skills to Wringer + Mangle, London Fields’ latest addition to its dining and drinking scene, for a two night pop-up, as part of their unique supperclub series. Gregory-Smith is just one chef getting involved in the event; to showcase the distinctive flavours and cultures that are found in East London, whilst using British seasonal produce to create the dishes.
Chefs getting involved include Rosie Birkett who will be also launching her new book ‘East London Food’ and will be signing copies on the evenings; Uyen Luu a leader in Vietnamese cooking and also Soli and Sanaz Zardosht, sisters known for their Persian influenced cuisine…
The Turkish-dedicated evenings take place on Tuesday 31st May & Tuesday 7th June; where Gregory-Smith will be creating a three-course menu and guests will also be treated to a complimentary Wringer + Mangle cocktail as they arrive.
For more information on and to book your tickets visit the Wringer + Mangle website here. Tickets cost £40 each.
