Ever wished you could design your own clothes? Seen a sweater in the store and liked it, but not loved it, or perhaps it just needed a little tweak? Knitwear company Unmade is here to fix all your problems. The innovative, technology-driven platform allows you to design a garment just the way you like it. Instead of overproducing jumpers that sit in a store for ages, Unmade allows you to customize the way the pattern looks in a sustainable way, modify and place as you wish – and they’ll knit it for you in central London. We are certain this may be the future of fashion…
Currently, their website lets you fiddle with plenty of different jumpers and scarves until the pattern is to your exact liking where you can then purchase your very own custom design.

You can do more than just play with the patterns placing, too, as different clothes allow you to add and erase designs.

Unmade gives authority to the customers, as the company won’t make anything until you’re completely satisfied with the design.

Fashion Blogger Susie Lau ventured into the company and shared on her blog how one of the co-founders, Ben Alun-Jones defines the company, that only just started in 2013, as “a catalyst, we’re not the designers so we invite eternal designers to come and enable them with a technology that we have developed. And then we give the customer way more power in the creation of their clothes.”

With the slogan “No stock, no waste, your choice made just for you” we could very well be looking into the future of an environmentally proficient fashion world. Certainly a company to watch, you can experiment with all of Unmade’s products here.
