Colour lovers: this is the palette for you. Urban Decay just released the new Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette that contains 21 (the most in ANY Urban Decay palette) uber-pigmented shades. The palette literally encompasses the entire rainbow, from bright pinks to vibrant blues and fiery orange. Some colours are exclusive Full Spectrum, but a few are fan-favourites from previous palettes, like “Alchemy” from Vice3 and “Hatter” and “Metamorphosis” from Alice Through the Looking Glass.
The shades are organised in rows by colour family, making it easy to create ombré looks if desired. It also includes a monochromatic row of “Platonic,” (black matte with iridescent glitter) “Iced,” (oyster silver with shimmer) and “Bump” (matte white). The shades range in finishes from matte to metallic to shimmer, and the colours themselves are to-die-for. My favourites are “Faded,” a cool lilac with gold shimmer and “Minx,” a deep navy matte with floating tonal pearl.
The palette itself is just as beautiful as the shadows it houses. The cover features a rainbow “UD” logo that mimics the colours of the shadows. Inside, you’ll find a huge mirror and double-sided eyeshadow brush that is perfect for both packing colour onto lids and shading.
Full Spectrum is available for £43 from urbandecay.co.uk
