Once the new Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani collection made its way through our office doors we just HAD to have a play; it would be unfair not to right? I got my hands on our intern Alyssa, who got a quick Gwen makeover… I wanted to test our how the products worked on the skin and in a look, as doing swatches just isn’t as fun! And the products were, as predicted, a pleasure to use.
Using more neutral tones from the eyeshadow palette defined with a liquid liner for the eyes, we went full-on Gwen for the lips to focus the attention on Alyssa’s pout. The colour I used was Rock Steady; a warm but slightly blue-based red, which complemented Alyssa’s green eyes amazingly.

Note: The brow box looks quite grey toned to the eye but warms up on the skin. Perfect for blonde to brown brows.. The wax sets everything in place perfectly and gives definition if you like more of a slick brow. I did just one in the video because I got Alyssa to do the other – to teach her how to recreate herself.
Also – I must mention the lipstick/liner combo and its incredible duration. This was still super sharp and bold with no fading on Alyssa even by the end of the day once we left the office. Very impressed.
