Am I ever going to get a luscious golden tan here in London? Not unless I can disappear for a 4 week holiday of intense sun – which I cannot. What with all the scary stuff we hear that goes hand-in-hand with sunbeds – they’re a no-no. But I absolutely love having a tan, that’s just me. So I am a complete lover of self-tan products, I just think I look so much more healthy and fresh with a bit of colour. Fake tan is safe on your skin and instant – no need for hours of sunbathing, which is far too damaging and I’m too impatient for that.

Wild Indigo is put into the mix to assist with reshaping and resculpting the skin for a smoother, refined and firm contours. UTan is DHA odour free (so no fake tanny smell), Not tested on animals, Lanolin Free, Paraben Free, & super easy to apply.
UTan have a lot to offer in terms of products – ranging from gradual self-tan, instant wash off self-tan, night time face-tan, even prepare and maintain products to help give you the optimum tan. Here at Beauty and the Dirt we tried out UTan – and had brilliant results.
Their hero product is their Nourishing Night Creme, which is a gradual night face cream which develops overnight and can be used each night until you build up the desired level of colour.
Out of the products we’ve tried, this is what we thought;
UTan’s tanning range – whether it’s the mousse, or the lotion – all go on easily, and blend out really well. As the product is coloured, you can see where the product is being applied to ensure it is nice and even. We thought UTan products rub in really well, developing quickly. To ensure you get the most natural looking tan, there are different shades to choose from to suit your skin tone, which we liked. And to top it off, it lasts and fades well.
Overall, we love this range, during application and with the results that we saw.
