Headlining V fest this weekend – Justin Bieber and Rihanna, who infuriated fans by being 30 minutes late.
With V Fest in full swing this weekend- the festival was host to some of the biggest artists around at the moment, with both Justin Bieber and Rihanna headlining, guest were in for a treat.
It was his first ever UK festival appearance as Just Bieber headlined the main stage at V Fest. The 22 Canadian artist took stage for one of the most talked about performances of the weekend.
Admitting to being slightly hungover: “I’m a little hungover, I’m not gonna lie. I don’t there a more real place in the world than the UK. You guys don’t like to fake anything, which I can respect.”
Starting off with his early day’s hit “Baby”, which we all know of course, the singer transitioned during his set to his more recent hits form his Purpose album.
Before singing, ‘Life Is Worht Libing’, JB gave an emotional and empowering speech about why we’re on on this planet – he might have even let our a tear or two…shhhh.
But, while JB was pouring his heart out to fans on the made stage, Faithless were keeping the party going over on the MTV Stage. They performed a banging set, fans went absolutely crazy, dancing way into the night!
Reporting on the UK grime scene at V Fest – UK grime legend Stormzy stepped in for Halsey as she sadly had to pull out of her slot on the main stage. The UK artist managed to pull in one of the biggest and loudest crowds, performing his hits such as ‘Know Me From?’ and ‘Shut Up’.
Rihanna was of course one of the biggest acts of the weekend, but her Navy fans were not happy as the Barbados singer showed up 30 minutes late, after she’s been making headlines that she has been showing up late to her own performances during the Anti World tour.
Once she finally appeared, she was booed by unimpressed fans who also accused her of miming with one fan tweeting her directly, saying: “@Rihanna 20 minutes late then miming, shame on you. Too many beers with Bieber?”
She later announced her newest single via Instagram, posting a video of her performing it at V Fest.
