If you thought the giddy joy of being a kid was lost forever, think again. With the Social Fun & Games Club, “adulting” has never been so enjoyable. The gaming spot at Stratford’s Roof East opened in May and overlooks the site of the 2012 Olympic Games. Packed onto the rooftop is an assortment of games, attractions and entertainment, perfect for a date or summer night out with friends.

Created by the Roof Top Film Club over the past four summers, this season has been taken to a whole new level with the expansion of the amount of games available. The wacky golf course is returning with a challenging redesign, along with an eighties themed roller disco, film screenings every night and London’s first baseball batting cages. The attraction I’m most excited about though is the lawn lanes, where you’re able to bowl to the beat of blaring hip-hop music. Spirited Mixers will be serving mixed drinks with Pizza Shack and Jimmy’s Tapa Bar providing the munchies.

You can book your tickets all summer long online here. I personally can’t wait to re-enact my childhood with this adult playground, but this time with a cocktail in hand.
