Coq d’Argent and House of VOGA present: VOGA Alpine Chic Sundays – A series of winter rooftop VOGA classes.
What is Voga?
Think of an infusion of Yoga and expressive moves of a dance class. VOGA was created by Juliet Murrell, a set designer who turned to yoga, identifying the niche for a more expressive and energetic style of yoga. Voga is set to an iconic 80’s soundtrack to combine dynamic dancing with dreamy disco-esque movements where slick alignment is key.
Yoga has had a Vogue-Madonna makeover; and now House of VOGA hosts this alternative exercise with ten instructors who teach in gyms, hotels, offices night clubs and more all around the world.
So what better way to enjoy a bit of Voga than in a stunning venue – this is where Coq a’Argent comes in. From it’s massive success, the luxury restaurant opened it’s doors, well more like their rooftop terrace, to hold sessions over the summer and they went down a treat. It was the hottest fitness class around and each sesh was completely sold out. Of course, Coq d’Argent made sure these sessions stuck around for the winter months too.
The classes will restart in November and will be held on the last Sunday of every month in Coq d’Argent’s stunning winter terrace, Lodge d’Argent. Complete with reindeer rugs, heaters and festive cheer, it is the loveliest space for participants to get into their VOGA groove. Don’t forget to hang around for a leisurely lunch and a Vogue d’Argent cocktail or two…
