Tis the season for sharing, giving and caring. This was exactly what Glossybox had in mind when they created their December box, partnering with non-profit charity, Give and Makeup.
The December edit from Glossybox pays homage to the party season, focusing on the statement lip with not one, but two boxes this month. Inside their Spice box they have included what they call the “most flattering shade of deep plum that money can buy,” it’s a matte lippy called ‘Vamp’ by MDMflow which comes in a golden tube. This shade can be quite difficult to wear and personally I would apply a small amount on your lips and smudging to give them a wonderful rouge tint.

But, if you’re not a fan of a bold lip, you have the option of selecting their alternative box, Sugar which contains a nude Revlon shade called ‘Bossy’. You can then ensure that you get maximum wear out of your lipstick by applying the Lipcoat lipstick sealer which is supposed to help keep your lipstick fresh for longer.
Glossybox have also chosen nail colours to complements the lips. Inside the Spice box you can find Revlon’s Nail Enamel in Valentine, which is a deep berry lacquer. For their Sugar box they have selected a nail polish by Revlon called ‘Grey Suede’.
Also inside the box you will find an Essence Illumining palette which is a trio which can be applied individually or as a set to give you that extra pop.
They have not forgotten about your brows, selecting the Collection cosmetics define & perfect eyebrow powder. I have not previously used this particular Collection product but I do like to use the Collection eyebrow kit which has three shades of brow powder, a mini tweezers and setting gel. This is a product I swear by. It’s super affordable and does a great job compared to some of the more expensive options on the market.
