The only problem with getting your hands on the most-wanted, must-have item of the season? – The fact that with its all-too-obvious style, print, cut or colour you’ll undoubtedly spot it on someone else no matter where you go, making it just that little bit less covetable. Not this season, however, as premium high street retailer, Whistles, have this little fashion predicament covered thanks to its freshly launched line of exclusive, limited edition pieces.
The Limited Edition line, which launches online today, will offer 70 pieces for day and night, made with key fabrics for autumn winter, such as leather, cashmere, silk, crepe and jacquard, in quantities of just 20-50 of each item. So there’s far less chance that you’re much-loved, signature purchase will be sported on every high street around the country.
We’ve already got our hearts set on the leather leggings, shearling biker jacket and ultra-luxe cashmere tracksuits (they’re a far cry from Juicy Couture!).
Of the Limited Edition collection, Whistles CEO Jane Shepherdson has said,
‘We decided to stretch our creative wings this year and allow ourselves the luxury of designing a small tightly edited collection of what we consider to be the most covetable pieces of the season. When we had created it, we realised that we couldn’t do without it, and it became our Limited Edition…. it is the epitome of what Whistles is all about—effortless luxury.’
