Earlier this year, The Times named Serbian-born fashion designer, Roksanda Illincic the designer of choice for the alpha female. Her international label Roksanda made it’s debut at London Fashion Week in 2005 and after years of popularity, it seems as though this summer everyone is wearing Roksanda.
In the U.K., the London-based fashion house gets lots of love from British style icons. Kate Middleton and ex-Prime Minster Cameron’s wife, Samantha Cameron have been known to love the Central St Martins graduate’s dresses. On her last day as the Prime Minister’s wife, Samantha Cameron chose a bold, graphic dress with a zipper up the front from the designer’s 10 year anniversary capsule collection. Early this month, at Wimbledon, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a yellow and white Roksanda dress.
Across the pond in the U.S., Melania Trump stepped out at the Republican National Convention in a white ROKSANDA ‘Margot’ dress to support her husband and Republican nominee in the U.S. Presidental Election, Donald Trump. As a potential First Lady, Melania seems to be taking notes from the current FLOTUS Michelle Obama, when it comes to fashion – as well as speeches it seems. Michelle is known for the loving Roksanda dresses and has been supporting the brand throughout her two terms in the White House.
The simple yet elegant design aesthetic that Roksanda sticks to makes it the perfect luxury label for the regal, the political and the powerful women of the world.
