Actress Drew Barrymore opens up details of her life in her new book, Wildflower.

Drew Barrymore had a troublesome upbringing; although you would never tell from the fresh-faced six year old Gertie in the classic E.T. movie. As a baby girl of just 11 months being thrust into the spotlight; she was literally born into the acting world.
Barrymore has spoken about her rather turbulent childhood which was marked by recurring drug and alcohol abuse, and describes being ‘out of control’ as a wild child star, in her new book Wildflower. It follows her outlandish life, in memoir-style short stories taking you back and forward in time, telling stories of her journey. It’s a book about the lost loveless child star who finally found family and love.
Wildflower is the second memoir the actress has written since her first in 1990 at the tender age of 14; Little Girl Lost.

Wildflower is available for pre-order now and out tomorrow Tuesday 27th October.
