Now that the world’s most eligible bachelor is off the market and engaged to be married, it’s time to start speculating about the most important part of any wedding: the fashions. Rumor has it that George Clooney will get hitched while wearing Giorgio Armani. It’s also reported that the Armani team made a house call to Clooney’s Lake Como home to do a private fitting for the actor and his groomsmen.
Rumors have also been swirling, as with any celeb wedding, about what Clooney’s bride, British human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin, will wear. Insiders said Alamuddin is narrowing down her choice from a pool of designers, but that Oscar de la Renta is the current favorite. Clooney and Alamuddin will wed on September 20 in Venice, Italy where the actor has supposedly rented out an entire island for the “small” affair. He may be breaking millions of hearts, but at least he’ll be doing it in classic Clooney style!
