Much as I get obsessed with single colour shades, I spend a lot of time finding their perfect in socket companion or highlighter. I like things to be already decided in what blends and what intrigues and the Keep an Eye on Me Eye YSL Palette does more than that. You get 5 shades in a Mondrian style painting. The shades are all perfectly blended or perfect opposites. I’m loving the one called The Street and I. It’s in colours that you wouldn’t expect to go together but they do, effortlessly. The colours in this are dark grey, vibrant red both in matte, a pale peachy shimmery one, one shimmery earthy pink and one iridescent pink.
I love the way the shadow glides on effortlessly and comes with just the right amount of pigment and just the right amount of blend. The red one is actually a burnt orange and it’s super sophisticated, subtle but dramatic at the same time. The textures of these colours are luminous and make for beautiful eye make up even if you aren’t good at applying and have no time. It does it for you.
