Lionsgate’s latests horror flick The Possession prodced by Sam Raimi. Based on the true story, the Brenek family encounter unspeakable evil when Em, the youngest daughter of Clyde and Stephanie Brenek, becomes obsessed with an antique wooden box she purchased at a yard sale. The Brenek’s don’t see cause for alarm in Em’s new obsession but as Em’s behavior becomes incresingly erratic, the Brenek’s fears the presence of an evil force is in their midst. The box in question is discovered to be a dibbuk-a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimatley devours its human host. The family must come together to try and save their daughter and survive the wrath of evil.
Starring Kyra Sedgwick and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Clyde and Stephanie Brenek, The Possession is coming to UK cinemas 31 August.
