Wild is the story of one woman’s 1,100 mile solo hike undertaken as a way to recover from a recent catastrophe. Adapted by Nick Hornby from the memoir of Cheryl Strayed, and directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, Wild stars Reese Witherspoon as Cheryl, and follows on her journey, both her physical journey through the elements, and her mental journey through her memories, thoughts and emotions. It’s set to be one of the must-sees of fall 2014.
