Romeo Beckham for Burberry.
At twelve years old, Romeo Beckham is achieving as much as models twice his age. Not that we’re surprised. After all, his parents just so happen to be two of the most stylish people in the world.
Romeo made a not-too-shabby modeling debut in last year’s Burberry Spring/Summer campaign alongside Cara Delevingne, after which the brand saw a thirteen percent sales increase. To our (and the world’s) delight, he is back for the iconic brand’s first ever big Christmas campaign. The short film, From London With Love, tells the tale of a boy bringing the gift of love to a young couple, in which Romeo unsurprisingly manages to steal the spotlight. Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey gushes, “It continues to be an utter joy working with Romeo – he has charm, style and great energy! I’m delighted that he’s the lead role in our festive campaign.”
Romeo looks quintessentially Burberry in the brand’s latest campaign.
In the ad, Romeo shows off his dancing skills and sports classic Burberry staples, including a crisp button-down, trench coat, and check scarf. He is joined by fresh faces Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward, as well as a group of fifty dancers who perform to a song written and recorded by Ed Harcourt. A whirlwind of beauty, sweeping music, and classic glamour, the ad has us eager to see what Burberry has up its sleeve for next season, and has us wondering what other modeling ventures Romeo has in his future.
The Beckhams and Christopher Bailey attend a VIP screening of the short film.
