Selma, directed by Ava DuVernay and co-written by DuVernay with Paul Webb, is based on the 1965 Selma to Montgomery voting rights marches led by James Bevel, Hosea Williams, and Martin Luther King, Jr. and John Lewis. The film stars David Oyelowo as King, Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon Johnson, and Carmen Ejogo as Coretta Scott King.
If the trailer is anything to go by, this is set to be one of the must-see films of the new year.
