So you may have or may not have heard about this collaboration. Two visionaries, NARS & Steven Klein, have paired up to release their exquisite fantasy collection.
Renowned American fashion photographer Steven Klein is well known for his extraordinary, freakish, sometimes menacing work, and now he’s bringing his edginess to the NARS makeup counter with the help of make up maestro François Nars.
The two are teaming up to create what is sure to be the most enticing holiday collection; “Steven is an iconic fashion photographer. His work defies the rules of photography – it’s arresting and provocative. It pushes boundaries and elicits a reaction. I like that. He perfectly embodies the sprit of NARS.” the creative founder François Nars explains.
Beauty and the Dirt attended their launch of this iconic collection; set in a dark, art-installation style display, slowly revealing in separate rooms their inspiration and mood behind this project.
Without giving too much away – think downtown New York edginess, strange but sexy and beautiful.
Oh, we cannot wait to see the collection hit the shops.
