Beyoncé has made a little bit of history as she is revealed to be on the cover of Vogue this September.

Beyoncé is shot by Mario Testino, sporting wet and wavy hair and wears a lavender shade embroidered dress with floral detailing. Draped over her shoulders is an embellished purple jacket.. The cover text reads; “Just B: Beyoncé and the Art of Global Domination”. We’re betting she’ll let us in on her secret; how to run the world.
“She’s the whole package: primal, rare, delicate, beautiful, and powerful.” —Stella McCartney

The magazine embraces the powerful women we call icons;
“The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality.” —Marc Jacobs
Although the artist has featured on the magazines front page twice before; this is the first time a black artist has featured on Vogue’s September cover.
Read the rest of the cover story and the entire September issue as early as August 14th online or by picking Vogue up in stores. The issue officially hits newsstands on August 25th
