Is it after lunchtime and you’re dying for an afternoon sweet snack? It can be hard to resist the sugary cravings that come every day after lunchtime (just me?) whilst sticking to a healthy diet – so here’s where these handy, healthy and guilt-free snacks come in.

Ditch your sneaky secret office snack drawer and fill it with some of these guilt-free snack bars. They will hit those sweet spots with a load of healthy ingredients – with some even contributing to one of your five a day!

You’re welcome.

Fibre One

At just 90 (87 if you want to be precise) cals per bar – they’re super tasty. We were impressed with these little sponge cake-like snacks. Our favourite was the Chocolate Fudge Brownie, of course. Find them in Tescos.

PULSIN

Bursting with flavour and with a gorgeous raw chocolate/crushed date texture, their brownie bars are so delicious to tuck in to. They seem too yummy to be healthy. Available in Holland and Barrett and Whole Foods.

BEOND

Fancy something chewy? Beond bars combine raw dates and cashews along with their key ingredients to help you get your 1 of 5 a day from one bar! We recommend you try out the Apple Cinnamon to get the benefits of the packed-in Vitamin B6. Find them in Holland and Barrett.

NAKD

These little Nakd bars are super indulgent, especially the Cocoa Delight, it feels naughty to eat – and we like that. The texture is melt-in-the-mouth from the dates and raisins all smooshed together in them. These bars are low sugar and wheat, and dairy and gluten free. Available in Boots, Sainsbury’s, Tescos and more..

Squirrel Sisters

For a crunchy biscuit alternative – Squirrel Sisters have just the thing. Their packs of two biccies are completely nutritious and low in calories and saturated fat, who wouldn’t resist?  They’re such a cute brand too, try them out. Find them in Planet Organic and Whole Foods.
