Estée Lauder have created a new hybrid foundation, called the Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick Radiant Makeup (£28) combining both product and pro tool in one – and we rather love it.
Double Wear devotees will rejoice at the new variation of the much-loved foundation, but what we found with this one is that even those of you who like a bit more minimal and natural foundation can enjoy this lovely little stick too.
Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick Radiant combines the benefits of having a long-lasting element with a radiant and (optional) sheer finish. Designed to mimic the look of ‘a second skin’ this foundation gives the look of glowing, healthy skin. The cushion allows for a sheer blend of the product, or can be built up for more coverage.
The innovative foundation features a built-in cushion tip that gives a brilliantly flawless blend, with minimal effort. It is the perfect on-the-go touch up stick (if you even need to, that is) and a superb travel companion. What more could you want? Hygiene is key – and don’t worry – Estée Lauder have it covered, as the cushion is easily detached for a good old clean.
In an oddly satisfying trait, the stick changes size as the product is used, so you know when its time for a new one. The stick becomes smaller until the window disappears. Even if you twist out too much foundation you can reverse twist to pull some back in for minimal wastage. Nice!
