Alexander Wang’s soon-to-be flagship at 43/44 Ablemarle Street.
If any one designer is finishing out 2014 with an impressive bang, it’s Alexander Wang. Actually, his whole year has been pretty spectacular. Basking in the major (but let’s be honest, very expected) success of his recent collaboration with H&M and release of his first fragrance with Balenciaga (of which he just so happens to be the creative director), the designer is now bringing his signature brand to one of London’s swankiest neighborhoods.

Set to open in early 2015, the store is sure to reflect the sleek, modern, minimalistic aesthetic that Wang’s clothing is famous for. Located at 43/44 Ablemarle Street, it will join fellow brands Paul Smith, Amanda Wakeley, Buccellati and Garrard & Co. who have stores on the same street. Although the designer’s website ships to over 50 countries, the upcoming store will be Wang’s first European standalone flagship store. Following in the recent footsteps of Victoria Beckham and Balmain, Alexander Wang’s shop will find its home in Mayfair, among countless other high-end designers.
