This August, Alicia Vikander posed as cover girl for British Vogue and opened up in an interview with Tom Lamont. The Oscar-winning actress is making her cover debut just a few months after her critically acclaimed performance in the Danish Girl and just before her role in the new, highly anticipated Jason Bourne film. Not a bad year so far then!
The 27-year-old won an Oscar for Best-Supporting Actress early this year and was lucky to get support from her big-name colleagues. Vikander noted that the best advice her Jason Bourne co-star, Matt Damon, gave her was to just simply “Enjoy it.” Accompanying her to the award show was her boyfriend, Michael Fassbender. Although their relationship is rather private, Vikander said their was “no question” about them sharing the special moment together.
The actress reveals what drives her in her career, “You have the fear,” she said. “Maybe that’s why I keep on working. Because it will stop one day.”
Vikander’s exciting year will continue as she is set to star in two more films: Tulip Fever and The Light Between Oceans.
