Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Jennifer Lawrence star the latest film to be directed by David O. Russell. Set in the 1970s, the storyline follows con man Irving Rosenfeld (Bale) along with his partner and lover, the British Sydney Prosser (Adams). Both are recruited by FBI agent Richie DiMaso, played by a permed up Bradley Cooper, who pushes them to an operation to uncover a world of Jersey based mafia. Caught in the crossfire is the Mayor of Camden, Carmine Polito (Renner) and Irving’s derisively-pouting wife Rosalyn (Lawrence). The already high-end cast is topped off with the support of Robert De Niro. What more could you want? A trailer? Oh go on then…
