In a recent interview with Marie Claire, cover girl Amy Schumer opens up about making it to the top with her ‘unapologetic and unabashed brand of humour”. No topic is off-limits in her comedy, and as it turns out, nor in her real life.
Schumer, 35, whose recent highlights include her HBO stand-up special, “Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo”, her debut hit film Trainwreck, a fourth season of her award-winning show ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ and most recently the filming of a yet-untitled comedy with Goldie Hawn. She has also recently announced a stand-up arena tour in the UK, to coincide with the publication of her first book (see dates here)
In her feature Amy talks about things from growing up to being in love, describing it as being ‘the scariest thing in the world’. She also dishes the dirt on her relationship with boyfriend Ben Hanisch saying he is ‘the first guy who’s really been my boyfriend” and apologises “I feel so bad for him. How exhausting it must be dating me’.
