I had heard a lot about Glamglow. A lot of hype anyway. So I must admit I was a little distrustful. It came about amidst a wave of enthusiasm for clay masks and Dead Sea benefits, so was a little lost on me back then. But just a day or so ago it got put to the test.
I had a few precious spare minutes to myself one evening. The weather was miserable outside, the television choices were good inside. A pamper evening was a given. So I had a rummage through my neat little stash of face masks and pulled out the dinky little Glamglow pot. Now there are a few different varieties, but the one I plumped for was the Glamglow Supermud Clearing Treatment (£44.99). I smeared it on in a thick layer and waited for it to dry. I lay back marvelling at the minty fresh tingling sensation that danced around my face as the clay turned hard. I left it on for fifteen minutes before washing it off with a warm cloth, and the results were fairly astounding.
Now I’m not saying that every little pimple had magically been eradicated, but my skin felt silken in texture, looked clear and even and felt utterly rejuvenated. Moreover it continued feeling this way right the way through the following few days, it had definitely improved my skin for the better in the longterm.
I was genuinely surprised. Yes I will be using this again, and yes I will be buying it again. It is somewhat of a revelation. The instructions advise using it once a week. I am never so regular with my face mask ablutions but this new discovery might just encourage me to change my ways!
