The blow dry bar as a concept is something that has long ago taken New York by storm, and is having a more gradual rise in popularity here in the UK. Maybe it’s something to do with accessibility. A blow dry bar is almost as common as a Starbucks in New York but you have to really search them out this side of the pond, even in London. But that could be about to change.
We’ve had Hershesons in Oxford Circus’ Topshop, and now The Blow Bar is following suit with a brand new location in Regent Street’s French Connection. It’s a combination that has been seriously under-utilised. Shopping, and beautifying. We love it, and can’t wait for a chance to stop by for a mid-retail therapy style boost.
