My friend told me about her favourite facemask. She raved about how it made her face soft and plumped. It was the Inlight Organic Super Food Face Mask (£44.00). In fact, it`s full name is the Uplifting Face Mask. 100% organic.
It has won various natural health and beauty awards so I had to try it.
First of all I recommend opening the box from the underside. I am clumsy with boxes – might just be me – but I could not open it the right way up!
It smells like a super healthy fresh salad, or perhaps a skin smoothie better describes it. It is fully green, and fully fresh with a hint of the sea.
You spread it over your face with a little wooden applicator provided and of course with it being a deep dark green you look really scary.
I left mine on for about 20 minutes as a mask promised to detoxify and repair skin and replenish it with essential fatty acids and vitamin E. The baobab powder, which is one of the new must-have super foods, exfoliates swiftly and gently without stripping the skin of any natural oils.
Other ingredients include spirulina, rose seed oil, carrot root and barley leaf.
Once you remove the mask your skin looks amazingly fresh, clear and super soft. It looks like happy skin. It looks alive. It is a powerful anti-aging mask even though it doesn’t market itself as such. It’s like a green fairy leaves weaving a magic spell. To put it simply, it must be tried.
I can`t wait to sample some of their other products, they have a line called Softener Intensive, which is clinically proven to reduce lines and wrinkles in 56 days.
They also have a Chocolate Face Mask. The organic Face Cleanser comes highly recommended, it is said to be so moisturising that you don’t have to use night cream.
