Beth Ditto, indie rock singer-songwriter, is bound be in high sprits after marrying her long-term girlfriend, Kristin Ogata, on the Hawaiian island of Maui this week. The news was announced 24 July, although the exact date of the wedding is unknown.
Beth and Kristin got engaged in April this year after many years of dating. For the wedding, Beth untraditionally decided to go barefoot while wearing a knee-length, white gown by Jean Paul Gaultier. Kristin opted for an all-white jacket, shirt, shorts, and shoes combination. But it wouldn’t be a Beth Ditto wedding without a sliver of fun and frivolity – hence the gorgeous matching garlands around their necks, swingin as they walked down the aisle. And look at that smile, Beth’s in her element.
