If you didn’t manage to catch last night’s Super Bowl. Who cares. Because what we really mean is, have you seen/ gawped/ oogled and watched Beyonce’s electric half time performance on repeat? Because what The Washington Post have daubed the “sexiest Super Bowl half time since 2004” (yes, that was the year of Janet Jackson’s overexposure) totally blew our minds.
Not only did the appearance of Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a long-awaited Destiny’s Child reunion have us feeling suitably nostalgic, but Beyonce, as always had us awestricken. How is it possible for a woman to run, roll and grind around a stage whilst singing (pitch-perfect) and continue to look drop-dead-gorgeous? Well, the talent is all Beyonce’s (we think she may be superhuman), but the skin tight leather and lace body suit – and booties – came courtesy of designers Rubin Singer and Proenza Schouler.
Bey took to the stage in a skin-tight leather jacket, before swiftly removing it to expose the slashed to the stomach Singer creation which comprised of intricate lace interwoven with python and iguana leather panels. She paired the barely-there bodysuit with Sasha Fierce leather gloves, immaculately tonged locks and her classic smoky eyed stage makeup.
