Rumour has it that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to host their own dazzling party to celebrate the opening of the Olympics.
Of the guests expected to attend the A-list bash, the list includes Prince Harry, David and Victoria Beckham, Sharon Stone, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones and William and Kate.
The soiree will be held at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum, with the black tie dinner and ceremony hosted in the museum’s grand Raphael Gallery. The event will raise funds for the Sports for Peace initiative, supported by Nelson Mandela and celebrates what it describes as “the intrinsic values of sport- fair play, tolerance, the Olympic ideal of freedom and international intercultural understanding.” Leave it to Brand and Angelina to always do something wonderful for humanity.
After the event, Brangelina will host a glamorous Olympic themed after-party with homemade cocktails on offer. A source was quoted as saying, “Forget the official opening ceremony, this is the party to be at.”
We’re not sure that even the visionary Danny Boyle could beat the lure of a celebrity-studded Brangelina party!
