Whilst most of Monday’s Costume Institute Gala’s attendees opted for high-end fashion or couture, there were a handful of fashion aficionados who turned to high-street hero Topshop for their Met Ball attire. Nicole Richie, Jaime King, Jourdan Dunn, Ashley Madekwe and Julianne Hough all took a turn on the red carpet wearing custom-made and designed Topshop dresses, to critical acclaim.
We particularly loved Nicole Richie’s long-sleeved, full-length embellished dress and Ashley Madekwe’s sequinned column piece. . . so news that the Topshop designs will be hitting the high-street later this year is making us, and our future wardrobes, very happy.
