CFDA Award Winners 2013

Proenza Schouler

Duo Jack McCullough and Lazaro Hernandez, of Proenza Schouler, beat Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs to the covetable Womenswear Designer of the Year last night at the CFDA Awards, the third time they have picked up the award.

Meanwhile Hillary Clinton presented Oscar de la Renta with the Eleanor Lambert Founders Award for his “life and work” and contribution “to the American melting pot”.

Meanwhile, the hotly anticipated Menswear Designer of the Year award was presented to Thom Browne and the Accessories Designer category to Philip Lim.

Swarovski Awards for Womenswear: Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty for Suno

Swarovski Awards for Menswear: Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne for Public School

International Award: Riccardo Tisci

Media Award: Tim Blanks

Founders Award: Oscar de la Renta

Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award: Vera Wang

Board of Directors’ Tribute Award: Costume designer Colleen Atwood
