Perfectly timed for the long-anticipated launch of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s tribute to the punk movement, the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition on May 6th, accessories designer Charlotte Olympia reveals a collaboration with edgy anti-conformist jewellery designer Tom Binns.
The capsule collection will incorporate some of Olympia’s signature motifs together with the riotous touch of Binns’ including eye-popping neon shades and his classic safety pins.
Olympia’s best-selling platform, Dolly Riot has been revamped with a smattering of safety pins, whilst the fashion-crowds’ staple slipper, the Kitty flats have had a punk-update with the embroidered pussy cat now sporting nose and ear piercings (natch!).
