In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Alexander McQueen’s signature skull scarf, the well-respected designer has teamed up with another British visionary, artist Damien Hirst.
Following the already-paved path of symbolic neck-wear, the controversial artist has taken his inspiration for the line from his popular Entomology series. And although the artist’s motif of choice is the butterfly (which feels far more feminine than haute couture grunge) the 30-piece collection will not fall short of expectations as a handful of other insects and spiders, in a saturated kaleidoscope palette, will be incorporated into the iconic McQueen skull print.

Alexander McQueen x Damien Hirst print scarves available in chiffon, twill, pongee and cashmere, from £315 available in store and online at www.alexandermcqueen.com from November.
