It’s clear that the Grace Kelly legacy needs very little in the way of catalysts to keep it flourishing. Her beauty is immortalised in countless fashion shoots, paparazzi shots and royal portraits. Her talents are replayed again and again in the classic movies she catapulted into notoriety with her stardom. And her life story that narrates her journey from Hollywood royalty to real life princess is one that shall be read and reread for generations.
The Princess Grace Foundation is yet another aspect of her life that will continue to be relevant year upon year. It was set up by Prince Rainer in 1982 after her death, and provides scholarships, apprenticeships and fellowships to those emerging stars in performing arts.
It has been announced this week that Christian Dior is signing a three year partnership deal with the foundation, to be the sole sponsor of the Princess Grace Foundation’s upcoming award galas in LA, Monaco and New York across the following couple of years.
The name and works of the foundation will no doubt be raised notably, and the settings injected with even more glamour. No doubt something Princess Grace herself, would have approved of.
